Community Team Clinics

The following health professionals work closely with the practice in specialised areas. They can each be contacted at the surgery. The Community Midwife provides help and advice for all pregnant ladies in the practice, and care during labour at Paulton Hospital, and after the birth.

Ante-natal Care

We are pleased to offer all pregnant ladies care in a weekly ante-natal clinic run by the community midwife. We have access to beds at Paulton Memorial Hospital for uncomplicated deliveries. We will also be pleased to provide hospital care for mothers and new born babies at Paulton, after a delivery in the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

The Health Visitors

The health visitors have a separate telephone number 01761 404228. They work to promote health within the community in all age groups. In particular they visit families with children under 5 years, and work with the doctors to check for their healthy growth and development, and other health needs for the population over 5 years.

Babies and Children
In order for us to pick up potential problems as early as possible, we offer your child regular development checks. All the doctors recommend the full course of baby vaccinations; these are given at regular Immunisation Clinics.
