If you require an interpreter or the use of our portable hearing loop please ask our receptionists.
These are available to be booked in advance and are at 10 minute
intervals. Double appointments are available for longer
consultations.
We also offer routine appointments outside of our normal clinic
times for those who find it difficult to attend the surgery during
normal clinic times.
Should anyone arrive late for an appointment it is at the doctor's or nurse's discretion whether or not to see that person or ask them to re-book. If stuck in traffic or running late for some reason it is courteous to phone ahead to inform the surgery.
An Emergency Surgery is available every morning. If your problem is
MEDICALLY URGENT please telephone reception and your name and
contact details will be taken in order for our triage nurse to call
you back to assess your condition and ensure that you receive the
most appropriate appointment.
PLEASE NOTE these appointments are for medical emergencies
only. If the doctor or nurse feels that the consultation does not
warrant an emergency appointment you may be asked to rebook as a
routine appointment.

Cancelling Appointments
May we ask you to please cancel an appointment if you are unable to attend as we can always fill an appointment at short notice. Failure to attend appointments is a waste of a valuable NHS resource. The practice monitors frequent non-attenders regularly and in extreme cases we are able to request removal from our practice list of any patient who repeatedly fails to attend their appointment.
