At Elm Hayes the Practice Nurses hold clinics for different specialities on different days as detailed in the table below:

The Practice Nurses also offer the Support to Stop Smoking Service
by appointment in the Treatment Room. You can speak to any one of
the Practice Nurses regarding this.
All of our GPs offer minor operation slots for small procedures like
removal of moles, cysts, joint injections etc. Dr Gilbert and Dr
Tonge offer fitting of coils and contraceptive implants. These
appointments must be pre-arranged with your GP.
Family Planning
A full range of family planning advice and service is offered. Where possible we will make every effort for female patients to see a female member of staff if requested.
Health Promotion Clinics
Prevention is better than cure. We take every opportunity to check on our patients’ health and offer advice on healthy living. We also offer a full range of special health promotion clinics by appointment with our practice nurses.
Minor Surgery
All the doctors perform surgical procedures such as joint
injections, removal of small cysts etc. Warts and verrucae should be
self treated for at least 3 months before contacting the Practice
Nurse . Minor operations take place at surgery by arrangement.
